SHOP ASSISTANT
Solomon & Sons is seeking a full-time shop assistant. We are a full-service Truck/Trailer/Machining/Welding Shop with Parts Showroom. This position is key to maintain workflow in a fast-paced environment and ensure support of our customers. We offer competitive wages, benefits with a Monday through Friday schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of shop.
- Light maintenance of shop fixtures.
- Pick up and delivery of parts.
- Transfer of customers/vehicles
- Yard maintenance
- Other duties as directed by shop foreman.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma.
- Previous experience in an industrial environment.
- Must adhere to all safety and environmental policies and procedures.
- Must have a positive work attitude and be a team player.
- Must have the ability to meet deadlines, prioritize duties and work independently.
- DZ/AZ license an asset
- Forklift/Heavy Equipment experience an asset.
