Blank Productions is looking for Remote Live Stream Technicians to monitor and assist teams with SIJHL.TV broadcasts/live streams from our command centre in Dryden. You will also be responsible for monitoring the tech support line and helping customers use SIJHL.TV.
This a part-time seasonal position that runs for the duration of the SIJHL Hockey Season. The position will re-occur each season (Mid September – Early May). This is a great position for a student looking for a flexible schedule and a low-stress work environment.
Training for all required skills will be provided and the platform manager will always be available, either close by on-site or on-call to help you work through any major problems that may arise.
If the applicant is looking at pursuing a career in film, video production or media, opportunities may arise for additional real-world video production.

Blank Productions has been serving Northwestern Ontario’s video production needs for over 10 years. Our name truly speaks the truth, as our clients fill in the blanks to what type of projects we do. We have worked with clients big and small including but not limited to Dryden Fiber Canada, the Beyak Automotive Group, RBC, Treaty 3 Police and the City of Dryden.
Responsibilities:
- Launching each stream at designated times, and ensuring video and audio at each team’s location is functioning correctly.
- Assisting teams in troubleshooting issues.
- Monitoring support email and assisting those who require it.
- Monitoring each game remotely and contacting the teams if an issue arises.
Requirements
- No prior live streaming or video experience is required. Training will be provided.
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
- Positive attitude
- Reliability
- Experience working in both Mac/Windows environments will make the job easier but is not required.
Salary & Benefits: $16.20-$17.20/hr
