Situated along the Trans-Canada Highway between the neighbouring city centres of Winnipeg and Thunder Bay, the District of Kenora is comprised of several communities in Northwestern Ontario, offering an experience in nature like no other. With its main administration office in Dryden and other office locations and ambulance bases across the District, the Kenora District Services Board (KDSB) is the integrated service delivery agency dedicated to improving everyday lives through early learning and care, housing, paramedic, and social services.
Through the continued growth of our organization, we are currently seeking to hire a regular, full-time Integrated Services Worker located in Kenora, Ontario, to join our Integrated Social Services (ISS) team. Reporting to the ISS Supervisor, the Integrated Services Worker is responsible for collecting and analyzing information from clients and residents to make recommendations for social assistance, early learning and care subsidy, social housing subsidy, and other programs administered by the KDSB. This will include interviewing, meeting, and scheduling appointments with applicants for assistance under the various social services legislation including the Ontario Works Act, Child Care and Early Years Act, and Housing Services Act.

The starting hourly wage for this position is $31.22 in accordance with the Collective Agreement.
