The RPN Float provides client care in accordance with the Professional Standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario. They are members of the health care team, cross-trained for designation to multiple departments as needed, and have a significant role in promoting health, preventing illness, and helping clients attain and maintain the highest level of health possible in situations in which a client’s condition is relatively stable, less complex and the outcomes of care are predictable.
