Casual Lifeguard/Instructor

The City of Dryden is currently recruiting for casual Lifeguard/Instructors for the Pool and Fitness Centre.

As a Lifeguard, the successful applicant will use trained/certified lifeguard techniques to effectively supervise swimmers, prevent aquatic injury, enforce rules to patrons and obtain emergency medical assistance as required.

As an Instructor, the successful applicant will instruct children and adults in swimming skills and water safety knowledge; to teach entry level leadership courses which instruct candidates to respond to increasingly complex rescue situations.
