A large part of downtown Kenora remains closed today in the aftermath of yesterday’s fire that destroyed the ‘Lila Block’ and killed one man.
OPP say no other victims are known at this point and details will be made available as they come in.
People are asked to avoid the area to help prevent traffic congestion, as crews will be on scene for an undetermined amount of time.
The Fire Marshall will be attending the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.
Meanwhile, many of the businesses on Main Street remain closed today. One business, Link & Pin was destroyed in the fire.
