The Dryden Native Friendship Centre is currently accepting applications for Akwe:go Program Coordinator.
The Akwe:go program is to provide urban Indigenous at-risk children ages 7 – 12 with culturally based programming which encourages healthy lifestyle choices. The goal of this program is to provide urban Indigenous children with support, tools, and healthy activities which will build upon and foster their ability to make healthy choices.
Schedule:
Regular full-time hours:
Summer Months (July-August) Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm, 35 hours per week. Some flexibility to meet program needs.
Winter Months (September-June) Monday – Friday 10:00am – 6pm, 35 hours per week. Some flexibility to meet program needs.
This position is a regular full-time employment opportunity and is eligible for group retirement, extended benefits, and paid time off.
