Looking for a qualified or unqualified caregiver for our mother on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on a weekly basis. Mom is 92 but has her mobility with the use of a walker, she does have dementia but it only affects her memory; she is capable of all other activities.
We would require you to provide a criminal check, references showing previous experience caring for the elderly. A First Aid Certificate would be an asset.
Duties include: keeping mom company, assisting her with a light exercise routine or motivating her to walk, assisting her to get dressed if needed and making her a lunch. Mom loves to talk about her life and listen to old country music. She used to love to do art; if you think you could revive that interest in her and provide the other duties with patience and genuine caring,
then we would love to interview you.
Wages between $20-$25 per hour.
