Results of a ground penetration radar search on the grounds of the former McIntosh Residential School should be known later this fall.
Back in September, potential burial sites were identified for further inspection.
Overall, the ground penetrating search included .5 hectares of the former residential school grounds.
Initially, a four hectare section was visually inspected, which focussed on potential burial sites.
The Grassy Narrows First Nation says several locations were identified as potential burial sites.
The school was closed in 1969 and was located just northwest of Vermilion Bay.
