Improvements for Dryden area soccer players!
Kerry Holland with Dryden Soccer submitted the following…..
The Dryden Lion’s Club has completed the three sets of additions to the players’ shelters at Rotary Park; on Raposo, Bartlett and Hodge fields. These will provide much needed protection from the elements, with the luxury of plexiglass at the sides to allow for viewing.
This project was spearheaded by Ken Saville and took 68 hours to construct. Ken, along with Bruce Petsnick, Bernie Weiers, Don Compardo and others volunteered their time to provide our current and future soccer players/coaches with an amazing set of shelters. As you can see, some members of PhysioQuest United and the Siracha Sprinters are enjoying some reprieve from the sun, after a hard-fought game on Wednesday evening.
On behalf of Dryden Youth Soccer, Dryden Senior Soccer and Eagles Soccer, we sincerely thank you for your time and effort
Don’t forget to buy your ticket for a chance to win a Crestliner boat. This is a fundraiser by the Lion’s Club, that will be ongoing until the draw on September 16th.
