It is being seen by some as a referendum on the Trudeau government.
A federal byelection is taking place Monday in the riding of Toronto-St. Paul’s.
Liberal MP and former cabinet minister Carolyn Bennett represented the riding for 26 years until she stepped down in December.
The riding is considered a Liberal stronghold, but the party’s national polling numbers have plummetted as of late, leading some to believe the Conservatives could take it.
A record 84 people are listed on the ballot, which officials say is nearly one metre long.
