Several pow wows in the area to help celebrate National Indigenous People’s Day in both Sioux Lookout and Dryden.
In Sioux Lookout, there will be two mini pow wows on Friday.
One will be hosted by Tikanagen Child and Family Services and the Friendship Center at Town Beach.
It will take place from 11 until 4.
Meno-Ya-Win Health Center is teaming up with the Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority to hold another mini pow wow on the hospital grounds.
There will be a lunch at 11:30 followed by the opening ceremonies at noon.
In Dryden there will be pow wow at the Memorial Arena from 11 until 3 pm.
