A Guelph resident is facing charges after fleeing from police.
Early Sunday afternoon members of the Dryden Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a suspicious person incident on McGogy Road in the Township of Wainwright.
Officers located the individual and attempted to make contact; however, the individual fled in a passenger motor vehicle.
Officers followed the driver but disengaged after being advised of a single motor vehicle collision on Hoey Road where the driver had fled the scene.

- Dangerous Operation
- Driving While Under Suspension
- Operate Motor Vehicle Without Insurance
- Fail to Report Accident
- Fail to Remain
- Use Plate not Authorized for Vehicle
The accused has been remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear before the court in Kenora on February 15.
