Ontario’s largest technical conference for First Nations is happening in Thunder Bay.
More than 200-people from 134 First Nations are attending the two day conference starting Wednesday.
Organizer Mathew Hoppe says they are covering a number of issues including infrastructure, housing, climate change, fuel related issues and environmental concerns.
Hoppe says the goal is helping First Nations build an infrastructure capacity and maintain their assets.
One of the features is a trade show dealing with contractors, manufacturers and other companies hoping to work with the region’s First Nations.
