The Fort Frances Muskies boys basketball and girls volleyball teams won all four games in the start of NorWOSSA winter court sport action.
The Muskies junior boys edged the Beaver Brae Broncos 50-43.
It was also a close game in senior boys basketball as the Muskies got by the Broncos 57-53.
In girls volleyball, the Fort Frances junior girls downed Beaver Brae two sets to one (25-21, 15-21, 15-12).
The Muskie senior girls also got by the Broncos in three straight sets (25-14, 25-15, 25-22).
The Sioux North Warriors were in Dryden on Tuesday and took three of four games from the Eagles.
Dryden’s only win came in junior boys basketball action, with the Eagles prevailing 53-31.
It was a different story in the senior boys basketball game with the Warriors coming out on top 54-14.
On the volleyball court, the Sioux North junior girls won in two straight games (25-11, 25-18).
In senior girls action, the Warriors won three sets to one (25-20, 25-19, 23-25, and 25-18).
In “A” action, the Red Lake Rams were in Rainy River with the Rams junior boys edging the Owls 50-41.
In NorWOSSA boys hockey action tonight, the Fort Frances Muskies are in Kenora to take on the Beaver Brae Broncos, and the Sioux North Warriors face off against the Eagles in Dryden.
