Taylor Perkins
April 12, 1975 – October 9, 2023
Taylor Perkins passed away suddenly on October 9, 2023, at the age of 48 years. Born in Dryden on April 12, 1975.
Taylor is survived by his mother Lori Perkins, sister Leah Perkins, son Seth Perkins, daughter Kendra Perkins, Aunt JoDee Kamm (Bill Bousfield), Uncle Larry Perkins (Charmon MacDonald), and Cousins Clint Perkins, James Perkins, Becky Shorrock, and Brittany Kamm, as well as family friends Chris Kamm and Pamela Brown (Stewart Brown).
Predeceased by Grandmother Gwen Perkins, Grandfather Lawerance Perkins, and uncles Kim Perkins, and Rick Perkins.
Taylor resided in Dryden and Eagle River most of his life. He enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing and long nature walks. Taylor had a special relationship with his Grandma Perkins. Taylor was inspired by her to bake and create new recipes. One of his mom’s and sister’s favorite dishes was his stir fry. Taylor could often be heard whistling to his favorite tunes as he did daily. Taylor was willing to help friends or family with projects that needed to be done.
Taylor served in the Canadian Forces Reserve, Lake Superior Scottish Regiment (1995). He enjoyed all Star Wars movies and memorabilia. He would spend many hours playing Call of Duty, Final Fantasy and any dragon and demon video games. Taylor like to collect special coins and old dollars when ever he found them.
Taylor touched the lives of many and will be fondly remembered for his kind heart and infectious smile.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Dryden Community Funeral Home with Pastor Velma Henderson officiating.
Interment will take place at a later date.
