Grant Douglas Luloff
August 2, 1957 – October 5, 2023
It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear brother/uncle at Princess Court, Dryden, Ontario
Grant was born at Little Longlac Hospital and raised in Longlac, Ontario. He attended Marjorie Mills Public School and B A Parker Public Schools and then Geraldton Composite High School.
He then furthered his education at Lakehead university obtaining his BA in English. Grant loved to read and write and had a love for education. He further went on to obtain journalism diploma at Confederation College leading him to free-lance writing as well as a journalist for Wawatay News in Sioux Lookout. He was later employed with Confederation College.
He enjoyed art, reading, writing, music, singing, walking and was always up to critique articles and TV shows. He could never just watch a movie, he had to know everything about it.
Grant loved spending time with his family. His sense of humor will always be remembered.
Grant is survived by his brothers, Gordon, (Aurore), Wes, (predeceased sister-in-law Jody), Bob, (Tania), and sister Heather (Gerry), goddaughter Jennifer (Dan), and nieces and nephews Janice (Clint), Sherry (Sue), Cindy (James), Ken (Leasa), Shaundar (Melissa), Madeline, Leo, Samantha (Ben), and Chris (Jessie).
He is predeceased by his parents Bert and Florence Luloff, brother Clayton, and sister Pamela.
We are extremely grateful for the extended family he gained at Princess Court. The care and love he received is beyond any words we could ever express. Thank you to Dr. Goulet, NP Sarah Lancaster, as well as all nurses and staff both at Princess Court and DRHC for your kindness.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Pamela Lake, Longlac Ontario summer of 2024.
