Students at Ignace School are getting an even shorter school week, all thanks to yesterday’s storm.
The Northwestern Ontario Student Services Consortium has issued an alert for that school, stating it has been closed to students and staff due to an ongoing power outage.
Parents are advised to refer to communication from either the school itself or the Keewatin Patricia District School Board.
The consortium anticipates buses will be running for École Immaculée-Conception students and families.
However, families will be notified by Conseil scolaire de district catholique des Aurores boréales and the Northwestern Ontario Student Services Consortium if that changes.
