Three Kenora residents are facing several charges each after a drug bust on Ninth Street North on Tuesday.
The Kenora OPP says after an investigation between officers in Kenora, Sioux Lookout, Red Lake and Fort Frances, as well as the Treaty Three Police Service, a search warrant was executed in the 200 block of Ninth Street North on January 24.
During their search, officers found and seized roughly $34,000 worth of crystal methamphetamine, hydromorphone tablets, cocaine and other items used in the sale of drugs – including a taser.
As a result, 40-year-old Sean Caston of Kenora is facing charges of:
– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine,
– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine,
– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – hydromorphone,
– Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000,
51-year-old Brad Lacombe of Kenora is facing charges of:
– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine,
– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine,
– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – hydromorphone,
– Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000,
46-year-old Brandy Pelletier of Kenora is facing charges of:
– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine,
– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine,
– Possession for the purpose of trafficking – hydromorphone,
– Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000,
The OPP says Caston and Lacombe were held in custody, while Pelletier is scheduled to appear in Kenora courts on March 2, 2023.
