Environment Canada says a system that is bringing snow to northwestern Ontario is very large.
Gerald Cheng says all of Ontario is being affected as well as parts of Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
He says because the weather is mild, the snow will be mixed with freezing rain.
Cheng says we should see anywhere from two to 5 centimetres of snow every 12 hours over the next three days.
He says temperatures are above seasonal so freezing rain is a very real threat and motorists are urged to use caution when travelling.
Cheng is predicting roughly 10 centimetres when all is said and done.
