The Dryden Rotary Club is once again giving back to the community.
The organization is out with its latest allocations made possible by Rotary Radio Bingo on CKDR.
A total of $41,700 is being spread out to support nine regional programs.
Recipients include:
-Dryden Food Bank: $15,000
-Community Support Centre NW (Christmas Cheer): $5,000
-Ignace Ski Club-Trail Grooming Machine and Groomer: $5,000
-First United Church-Community Table: $5,000
-St. Joseph’s School-Indoor Tower Gardens: $4,500
-Red Lake Chukuni Christmas Cheer Board: $3,500
-Mary Berglund Community Health Centre (Christmas Cheer/Food Bank): $3,000
-Ear Falls Chukuni Christmas Cheer Board: $500
-Free Reading Program: $200
Rotary officials say, “We are grateful to be able to assist our Northwestern Ontario communities with these donations through countless volunteer hours by our club members and the support of all the people who play bingo with us each Thursday evening.
There will be a Monster Bingo tomorrow on CKDR.
