Halloween comes a little early this year in Dryden.
Trunk-or-Treat is Saturday from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Centre parking lot, where kids and families can come and pick up some treats.
Organizer Laina Smith says, “We have over 30 trunks coming with many being bigger industrial vehicles. So that will be really fun for everyone. When you arrive make sure you don’t forget to enter for our door prize giveaway. We will be giving one lucky winner a Nintendo Switch Lite.”
There is a change of scenery this year for the popular gather and Smith explains.
“As this event like our previous two has just gotten bigger and bigger every year. We’ve outgrown the Marsh parking lot and we felt that the Centre was a more central location for neighbourhoods.”
The Lions Club will be on hand selling hot food and free bus service is being offered.
Service starts at 3:45 pm with the last departure from the Centre at 7:45 pm.
Stops include:
-Our Saviour Lutheran Church
-A&W Parking Lot
-The Centre
-Dryden Go-Getters
-Free Methodist Church
-Laura Howe Marsh
Another feature event Saturday is the coinciding spooky haunted house tour at the Dryden Museum from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm
These are the final events of another successful Fall Fest.
