A number of community partners will gather tomorrow (Wednesday) in Sioux Lookout for an Educational Partners Fair.
The free public session is being held at the old Queen Elizabeth High School (15 Fair Street) from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
Organizer Alex Goretzki says more than 11 organizations are taking part.
They include the Northwestern Health Unit, Sioux Hudson Employment Services, SGEI Post-Secondary Programming and Meno Ya Win Health Centre.
Goretzki says the goal is to raise awareness of the educational services available within the community.
She adds they want to reach out to adult education students as well as all community members.
Goretzki notes, “Since COVID some people don’t know what services are being offered and how to access them. So I think this gives a good opportunity to get that knowledge out.”
The event is being presented by the Seven Generations Education Institute and Keewatin Patricia District School Board.
