The Dryden GM Ice Dogs are starting to heat up.
The Ice Dogs won their sixth in a row with a 6-3 win over the SIJHL leading Kam River Fighting Walleye Saturday.
Dryden GM erased an early 2-0 deficit by reeling off five straight goals.
Landen Stromme scored twice while James Hooton, Max Roby, and Ryland Maier all found the back of the net in the surgr.
Hooton would ice the game with a late goal.
Eric Clark was once again impressive in net making 33 saves.
The Ice Dogs get an opportunity to face the Superior Wisconsin Yellowjackets NCAA Hockey team Saturday night as part of the Showcase event in Superior.
Meantime, Sioux Lookout made an impressive showing in its Showcase debut with a convincing 4-1 win over Fort Frances.
Connor Burke, Aiden Parker, Tegan Neuman, and Tyler Decoff all scored.
Raphael Marois made 27 saves for the win.
