A Northwestern Ontario Francophone agency has received provincial funding to expand services.
The government is making a $50,000 investment to bring together Francophones from Ignace, Dryden, Sioux Lookout, Vermilion Bay and Kenora (gathered under the Club Franco-Boreal), and Francophones from the towns of Terrace Bay, Marathon, and Manitouwadge (gathered under Le club francophone du lac Supérieur)
The money will help the newly formed Association des francophones du Nord-Ouest de l’Ontario schedule regional events and activities in French and involve both clubs in activity planning and implementation.
