The Dryden GM Ice Dogs are starting to find their groove.
The Ice Dogs won their fifth in a row Saturday night with a 4-3 victory over Wisconsin.
Bryce Benfield scored a pair of goals while Easton Debray and James Hooton added singles.
Eric Clark was once again solid in net making 36 saves for the win.
The Ice Dogs are now tied with Red Lake for second in the SIJHL standings with 10 points.
The Miners fell to the Thunder Bay North Stars 2-1 in a shootout.
Aidan Ballance forced extra time scoring with 2 seconds left in regulation.
However, Red Lake couldn’t find the back of the net in overtime or in the shootout.
Jaxson Taupert made 33 saves for the Miners.
Meantime, the Sioux Lookout Bombers fell to Kam River 5-0.
Odin Church made 29 saves for Sioux Lookout.
