A new curling season is fast approaching in the City of Dryden.
The Sunday night league will once again be held on the Chris Pronger rink at the Memorial Arena starting October 16.
Seniors will play Monday morning.
The league is completely open and be comprised of men, women, juniors, seniors, families, or any combination of curlers.
Extra brooms and sliders are available at the arena for use free of charge.
Officials add playing lessons can also be arranged.
The games are only 6 ends and takes about 90 minutes to play.
Depending on how many teams are registered curling is held at 5:15 pm, 7:00 pm and 8:45 pm (if 14 to 18 teams are registered).
The season runs until February 19 with a fun bonspiel scheduled for February 24 and 25.
The fee is a flat rate per team of $850 for adults (no limit on number of players).
To promote junior curling Dryden GM is paying 50% of the junior rate of $500 so that youth teams only pay $150 for the entire season.
