A new school year is in full session and in-class learning is back at Confederation College campuses.
Angelina Anderson is the Campus Director in Dryden and Sioux Lookout and she talks about some of the local programming available.
“We’ve been offering the Medical Lab Assistant program the last couple of years, so that’s one of our newer programs to the regional delivery. Certainly it’s been available in Thunder Bay for some time. We’re really excited to be welcoming another group of the Community Integration Through Cooperative Education program students back this year.”
Anderson notes they are also offering health related courses to help those in the field advance their careers.
She says they offering over 30 live programs for the Fall and Winter semesters at their regional campuses and a number of courses are available on-line to fit your schedule.
Anderson says right now they have about 50 students in Dryden, 24 in Sioux Lookout and 12 in Red Lake.
She notes numbers may change as the deadline to enrol in a program is September 19.
Anderson encourages anyone interested in signing-up for the Fall or Winter semesters to contact their local campus.
