A mixed bag of results in the latest COVID numbers from the Northwestern Health Unit.
The seven day test positivity rate has gone up to 17.2%.
It was 16.3% last week.
At the same time, the number of active high-risk cases has gone down.
There are 80 this week, down from 103 last week.
However, the health unit stresses the numbers are lower than the real numbers due to the fact many people aren’t eligible for PCR testing.
They previously warned that our region was seeing an increase in cases and asked people to wear masks when physical distancing isn’t possible.
