It was a struggle for the top 10 teams on the final day of the 2022 Tbaytel Dryden Walleye Masters..
However, the Thunder Bay duo of Scott Abraham and Frank Lombardo showed some consistency to capture this years title.
They followed up a 19.60 pound Day 1 performance with another total four fish catch of 14.86 pounds Sunday to finish with 34.46 pounds.
That was enough to edge Dryden’s Jared Langford and Richard Doudiet who weighed in a total catch of 32.26 pounds.
Abraham and Lombardo finished second in the 2016 Walleye Masters tournament
Mike and Natalie Cote weren’t in the boat parade but came in early to register 17.82 pounds of walleye.
The Dryden anglers were on the podium in first for a while and ended up third with a total 31.62 pounds.
Day 1 leaders Brendan Church and Danny Herbeck struggled on the second day with only 5.98 pounds of fish.
They ended up 9th overall.
The big fish of the tournament went to the champs with Scott Abraham and Frank Lombardo catching a 11.38 monster on Saturday.
The Day 2 Big Fish went to Shawn Koski and Corey Bergen at 9.38 pounds.
