Provincial Police have charged four people in connection with a Thunder Bay area homicide that dates back to January 12, 2019.
The body of 21-year-old Samatar Warsame of Toronto was found on the shoulder of Highway 527, just north of the junction of Highway 11 and 17 in Shuniah.
After a 40-month investigation, four individuals have been charged, and police believe they had a common interest with the victim.
Two people from Thunder Bay, one person from Toronto, and another from the Greater Toronto Area, all face counts of first degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
The accused have been identified as 25-year-old Kaveh Lozoomi-Garmroodi (GTA), 29-year-old Hikomel Gary Joiles (Toronto), 43-year-old Stephen Richard Parr (Thunder Bay), and 33-year-old Amy Rose-Podnar (Thunder Bay)
All four are now in custody.
