An update has been provided by the Municipality of Red Lake on the status of Highway 105.
A text from the Red Lake emergency information service indicates the road is closed at the Golden Hook area and will remain closed until mid-afternoon. (Tuesday)
Highway 105 at Buller Creek is also closed to all traffic.
Officials note Highway 609/Quibel route is operational but motorists should proceed with caution.
There is also a closure on the south end of Highway 105 due to water on the road.
The road closure, which was reported just before 11 Monday night, is from Highway 17 to Highway 609.
A detour is available in this case.
In the Kenora area, Highway 596 is closed due to a washout.
It is near Catastrophe Lake about 30 kilometres north of Highway 17A.
