The province is assisting Dryden area residents to deal with flooding concerns
The Ministry of Northern Development, Mines, Natural Resources and Forestry continues to monitor the situation related to high water levels within the Wabigoon and Eagle River Watershed areas.
In response to the situation, the ministry is providing sandbags to those affected by high water levels that reside within unorganized territories.
A sandbag distribution centre has been established at the Dryden Agricultural Centre at 99 Scott Street.
Sand will also be available on site.
Those receiving sandbags may be asked to provide identification, to ensure that resources are being distributed appropriately.
For those residing in organized areas, please contact your local municipality if you require support.
NDMNRF has also set up a call line for those impacted by high water levels or to provide information and the contact number is (807) 223-7560.
