The amalgamation of Dryden Police and Provincial Police is officially done with former DPS members now trained with the OPP.
Constable Brittany Bembeneck says a special ceremony was recently held to mark a new era of policing in the community.
“That includes both uniform and civilian members. It was great to welcome them into the OPP family and I think they are all pretty excited to get back on the road and hit the ground running after their month long training.”
Bembeneck adds, “We would like to thank the citizens of the City of Dryden for their patience in the transition of policing and we look forward to continuing to serve them.”
