Jake Parker was the hero as he scored the winning goal early in the third as the Red Lake Miners edged the Dryden GM Ice Dogs 3-2 Sunday in Cochenour to even the Semi-Final series.
This despite the Ice Dogs out shooting the Miners 36-21 in the game.
Kiev Kineshanko was sensational in net making 34 saves.
Elliot Parker and Treston Moisey also scored for Red Lake.
Brady Frattinger and Ondrej Bardos found the back of the net in the first to give Dryden GM the lead.
Cole Johnston suffered the loss.
Game 3 is tomorrow in Dryden.
Meantime, Kam River is one win away from advancing to the Final after they picked up a 5-2 win over Thunder Bay yesterday.
Austin Madge stopped 36 saves for the victory.
