The Northwestern Health Unit catchment area’s COVID-19 per cent positivity rate has dropped slightly.
Health Officials say the current 7-day rate is 22.7 per cent.
On Wednesday it was 24 per cent.
There are also three active institutional outbreaks in the region including one in a long term care home and two listed as other.
The region’s total active high risk case count is now up to 442, with over 200 in the Sioux Lookout Health Hub.
With some provincial COVID-19 restrictions now eased, the Health Unit strongly urging caution as case numbers and hospitalizations remain high.
