The Northwestern Health Unit continues to report a high COVID-19 percent positivity rate.
In their Friday update, health officials say the current 7-day percent positivity rate is 20.7%.
That’s up one percent from their last report on Wednesday.
Three active institutional outbreaks also remain in the region, including one in an area hospital and two listed as other.
As for cases, there are 316 active high risk cases in the region.
The Sioux Lookout Health Hub has the majority of high risk cases with 168.
