The Superior International Junior Hockey League has officially approved a return-to play plan.
Play will resume Friday, February 4 with the Dryden GM Ice Dogs opening at home the following day against Kam River.
The Red Lake Miners will have to wait a little longer before they play as they have the weekend off.
The regular season will not be extended as a result of the Province of Ontario’s 27-day pause.
It will conclude as originally planned with the final games being played on Saturday, March 26.
The playoff tournament for the Bill Salonen Cup is slated to begin on Tuesday March 29.
Additionally, the SIJHL has postponed it’s 2021-22 Showcase, originally scheduled from February 8 through 10, to March 1 through 3.
