Bumper to bumper traffic on the Trans Canada Highway as the ‘Freedom Convoy’ rolled through Dryden.
Honking transport trucks and other passenger vehicles were greeted Wednesday by hundreds of local supporters with cheering, signs and more honking.
Supporters gathered along Highway 17 at various spots, with Provincial Police controlling traffic and maintaining safety.
It took well over an hour, if not two hours, for the convoy to get through town.
CKDR News asked a handful of Dryden supporters for comment but they did not wish to go on the record.
The group is on their way to Ottawa in protest against COVID-19 mandates, with their next stop in Thunder Bay tonight.
