The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting 243 active cases of COVID-19 in the region.
That’s up from 211 yesterday.
As far as regional hospitalizations, there’s now 11 compared to six yesterday.
Two also remain in intensive care units.
At the same time, four outbreaks are still active in the region.
PCR testing is limited to symptomatic high-risk individuals and individuals who work in high-risk settings.
Due to testing eligibility, health officials say case numbers only represent those who live or work in higher-risk settings and should not be used to assess risk in a community or in our region.
