Local COVID numbers continue to drop.
The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting 346 active cases, down from 365 Tuesday.
There were 19 new positives Wednesday.
Six are in the Kenora area, three each in the Red Lake and Sioux Lookout Health Hub, two each in the Fort Frances and Rainy River area, and one both in the Dryden and Atikokan Health Hub.
One more person has been hospitalized bringing the current number of patients in hospital beds to eight.
The Thunder Bay District Health Unit recorded 125 new cases with 353 active results.
Ontario now has 3,448 people in hospitals.
That’s up by over 200 from yesterday.
Of those in care, there are 46 per cent that were admitted for other reasons, but tested positive for the virus.
There are 505 people in ICU the province reported 9,782 new positives today.
