Balmertown’s Eric Radford is headed back to the Olympics.
Radford and Vanessa James secured one of two pairs spots on the Canadian Figure Skating team.
This despite the team withdrawing from the Canadian championships in Ottawa after the short program.
The two teamed up last spring.
Radford is a 2018 Olympic gold medallist in the team event, a 2014 Olympic silver medallist in the team competition, and a 2018 Olympic bronze medallist in the pairs event.
The two-time world champion is one of the most decorated Canadian athletes of all time along with former partner Meagan Duhamel.
