Kids are returning to the classroom at Pelican Falls First Nations High School.
Officials are planning for the return of students for in-person learning when classes resume January 5.
They have been learning virtually since the start of the school year.
There will be two youth counsellors available who have offices at the school and work full days on-site.
The high school offers unique and culturally relevant educational services to students from 24 First Nation communities within the Northern Nishnawbe Education Council and the Nishnawbe Aski Nation.
As of Monday, the Sioux Lookout First Nations Health Authority is reporting 10 active COVID cases on-reserve, including seven cases over the last week.
The Authority serves 33 First Nation communities in the Sioux Lookout region.
