The number of active cases of COVID-19 continues to go up in northern Ontario.
The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting five new cases since its last report Friday.
Three were in the Sioux Lookout area, while two were in the Dryden/Red Lake reporting area.
There are now 20 active cases.
The Thunder Bay region recorded 43 new positives and the active case count is now at 93.
Ontario registered 788 new cases
Health officials say 412 were unvaccinated people, 27 were partially vaccinated, 315 were fully vaccinated and for 34 people the vaccination status was unknown.
There were 3 more COVID-related deaths.
