A COVID-related scam that struck Ontario has resulted in two arrests.
Provincial Police were asked to investigate after the government received reports of spam text messages to individuals who had scheduled appointments or accessed vaccine certificates through the COVID-19 immunization system.

OPP searched a home in Quebec and one in Ottawa Monday and seized several devices, computers and laptops.
Police say 21 year old Ayoub Sayid of Gloucester, Ontario and 22 year old Rahim Abdu of Vaudreuil-Dorion, Quebec were both arrested.
Both face a charged of unauthorized use of a computer.
Sayid was an employee with the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services-Vaccine Contact Centre.
