It looks like the first winter storm of the season is over.
Environment Canada has ended the Winter Storm Warning after the region was hit with heavy wet snow causing multiple Highway closures over the past two days.
According to Environment Canada we received nearly 30 centimetres of snow since Wednesday afternoon plus another 2.5 millimetres of rain.
Light snow changing into flurries is expected for the rest of the day and into the weekend.
Area Highways have since reopened.
Hydro One continues to assess area power outages and no times of restoration have been provided.
