Another jump in cases of COVID-19 in Ontario.
On Sunday the province is reporting 636 new infections, 388 in individuals who are not fully vaccinated and 248 coming from people who have had two doses of a Health Canada approved vaccine.
This is the third consecutive day the province has seen more than 500 cases of the virus. It is also the first time Ontario has recorded more than 600 cases in nearly a month.
In terms of vaccination numbers, 88.4 per cent of Ontarians 12 and up have had at least one dose, while 84.9 per cent are fully vaccinated.
In Ontario, 22,606,903 vaccine doses have been administered. 88.4% of Ontarians 12+ have one dose and 84.9% have two doses.
93 people are hospitalized with #COVID19, and 126 people are in ICU due to COVID-19. Please note that not all hospitals report on weekends.
