Traditionally, Thanksgiving can be a time to travel to visit loved ones, but COVID-19 restrictions have continue to ground many people.
A survey shows many of us are still hesitant to leave for another country.
The survey, released by global technology company Wise, finds only 24 per cent of Canadians are currently planning an international trip within the next six months.
Of people planning to travel within this timeframe, men and young Canadians aged 18 to 34 were most likely to be planning an international getaway at 28 per cent and 32 per cent respectively.
Eighty-eight per cent said the pandemic has kept them from travelling internationally as much as they normally would.
The survey also found 75 per cent of Canadians stated health and safety concerns amidst the pandemic have made them less interested in travelling internationally.
