Despite a warm and humid Sunday there were no new forest fires over the weekend.
The number of active fires in the region is now down to 19 compared to over 50 a week ago.
Twelve are being observed, six are under control and one is being held.
The fire hazard is low to moderate across the northwest, with some pockets of high in the Red Lake and Fort Frances districts.
