A case of COVID-19 has been confirmed connected to a school in Emo.
One classroom at Sturgeon Creek Alternative Program has been temporarily closed as a precaution.
The Rainy River District School Board says the person with the virus is a student.
The school board is currently working with the Northwestern Health Unit on monitoring and next steps.
It’s the second case impacting schools in this region since in-class learning resumed last week.
The first was opening couple of days at Pope John Paul II School in Kenora.
